Every dehumidifier on the market comes with somewhere between 30-40 feet of drain hose. Standard procedure for many water restoration crews is to take one end of that hose and wrap or coil it around the nearest faucet so that water drips innocently into the sink. The problem is that by wrapping the drain hose around a faucet, your crew is losing 6 to 8 feet of valuable slack that would normally allow them to place their equipment exactly where they need it.

On top of that, most sinks they see out in the field are filled with dishes, further impeding placement of the drain hose and creating a cleanliness issue. Our Drain Cane’s patented curve allows it to simply hook on the ledge of any sink for ease and efficiency. This eliminates the need to wrap or coil the drain hose around the faucet while still effectively disposing of excess water.
